Meet the storyteller
Beverly Henderson grew up in the wide-open landscape of west Texas. Life as a career Army wife took her around the world, with opportunities to teach children and women in Hawaii, Germany, Belgium, and beyond.
Those experiences inform her stories: a zebra discovering the world, a Christmas cousin with an adventurous spirit, and two trees finding hope far from home.
Her books invite readers to look beyond the obvious—and discover a little wonder along the way.
